Can someone explain to me what happens in a Despotism type of government and give a country that uses it.

  1. A despotism type of government is basically where a single person or small group of people rule with absolute power.

    An example would be the Roman Triumvirate which consisted of Octavian, Mark Antony, and Marcus Aemilius Lepidus where they exerted absolute power over the entire Roman Empire after the death of Julius Caesar.
