Me and my friend are entering a comp and want to perform a duet... Our main genre is musical theatre but anything else would be helpful. We are both 16, strong singers and happy to learn anything.

Thanks x

  1. it's raining on prom night- grease (school version)

check out wicked they havce a few between galinda and elphaba that are great!

  2. Do me a favor: don't sing anything from Wicked. Way too overused.

Look at one of these songs:

Kindred Spirits (Anne of Green Gables)

    Stepsister's Lament (Cinderelle)

If Momma Was Married (Gypsy) (might be a bit young for you)

Some Things Are Meant to Be (Little Women)

How the Other Half Lives (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

In the Light of the Virgin Morning (Jane Eyre)

  3. The song "I know him so well" -Chess.

"If you hadn't, but you did" works well as a duet and it's fun, too.

"In his eyes" -Jekyll and Hyde.

  4. I would sing "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This" - Fro m Sweet Charity

    or

"I feel Pretty" - West Side Story

Have a look and some older musicals, you may be surprised at how good some of the old stuff is

  5. "For Good" from WICKED is an amazing song =)

Or if you want some comedy...try

"What is This Feeling" also from WICKED...

    Good Luck =)

  6. Maybe Honey Honey from Mamma Mia
