What is a Harder instrument to play?

This is an eternal question.  As a drummer I would say the guitar because I just never had the finger dexterity to pull guitar off.  Not that drumming is easy, you need to be able to move all of your limbs independantly and to a beat.  I've heard it described as patting your head while rubbing your tummy while salsa dancing.  I guess it really depends.  Personally of course, I think drummers rock:-)

Guitar is extremely easy if you can read music, or if you have a little bit of experience in other string instruments.

I was just learning guitar a little bit in school.

I play the piano, and I played the violin for 2 years and quit 4 years ago. Guitar was just very easy for me.

On the other side, I tried the snare amazingly many times. I can never roll for some reason. And the base. I can't really play that either.

I'd say it depends more on you. Why don't you tried both of them a little bit and figure out for yourself?

everyone asks this same question. its up to you! personally guitar is harder for me.

i would think guitar is, because you have to get the notes and the beats right, where as drums, you just focus on beats and projection.
