its supposedly very clean, no noise, increased performance. hydrogen is used to produce electricity and then an electric engine is used. it can explain everything in the video.

Its a method of generating electricity resulting in the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen.  The positive side of this is that it is completely silent, and emits zero pollution, only water vapor.  The downside is that platinum is used as a catalyst, which is costly.  Getting the fueling infrastructure off the ground is another obstacle, which again goes back to the matter of cost.  However when oil prices exceed the price of fuel cells, thats when the switch will be certain.
