I've only seen them in MKIVs. Is it another type of Jetta package you can get? (Like the Wolfsburg?) If so, what options sets it apart from other Jettas? Were there only a certain number made?

  1. Who cares about a BORA lets just go out and get wild...whacha think about that....NOT SO BORA IS IT!!!

  2. There is no such thing as a Jetta Bora.  There was a VW Bora mostly assembled in Volfsburg, Deutschland, and there is now only a VW Jetta, assembled either in Volfsburg, South Africa, China, and most N. American versions assembled in Puebla, Mexico... although most Americans are bitter about the Jetta --> Vento departure from Westmoreland, PA to Puebla.

  3. Jetta name is used in N. America, Bora is the same car in Europe. The Boras do have different engine options though, they have gas engines ranging from 1.6 L I-4 to the WR6, also have the 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines. Interior wise and option wise they look the same. If you see a Bora here its because someone took the Jetta badges off and replaced them with Bora, you can get the badges on e-bay.

  4. bora's is basically another name for jetta in germany, but some models come Bi-turbo'ed i believe. But unfourtanetly we do not have this in the U.S.
