  1. he teachersrs anclassss betweekinder gardenen and 12th grade and you have to go to college

  2. The term K-12 Teacher usually refers to a teacher who is certified to teach their subject to kindergartenders the whole way through to 12th Grade. Music, Phys. Ed., and Art Education degrees usually lead to K-12 certification while an Elementary Reading teacher will often have a different degree than a Secondary (high school) English Teacher. (they're usually certified either K-6, or 6-12... either can teach in middle school)

  3. A k-12 teacher is a teacher credentialed to teach in a self-contained classroom from kindergarten through 12th grade.  That means that he or she teaches all subjects throughout the day.  In California it requires a bachelor's degree, but not necessarily in education, and passing the CSET exams for the multiple subject (K-12) credential.  Most teachers with this type of credential teach at the elementary or K-8 levels.
