Okay im in high school and is thinking about what i want to be in the future as a career path. I have been thinking about becoming an investment banker. Not because of the pay, but because i like math and doing fiance work. I have searced and read that it would be good if i do Ivy league in fiance or econnomics/ or ivy league in MBA. What is these 2 things and how do i start in it.

Secondly how much the inv. bankers actually make a year and what do you do before you vecome an actuall banker and what is that pay job.

  1. The MBA is a general management degree at the graduate level. Your first step is to get a bachelors degree from a good school, possibly with a major in economics, accounting, or a science. Then work for 2-3 year before you apply for an MBA degree.

    You can expect to get job offers after the MBA of about $100,000 and your income as an investment banker can reach into $1 million or more. Your goal right now should be to get the best grades possible, get a solid undergraduate education with good grades, and the rest will take care of itself.

  2. Ivy league is a university located in New England that is highly prestigous and old. There are several but some examples are Harvard, Yale and Princeton. MBA is a Masters (degree) in Business Administration.

    Investment Bankers make about $100,000 per year.
