I know that its a rifle similar to the model 60, but I can't find any information about it. What year it was made, what the emblem represents or what the value is. It was given to my husband on his b-day. He just became a gunsmith and he collects rare rifles. If you know anything, it would be greatly appreciated.

:O)

Thank you!

  1. Get a copy of the Blue Book of Gun values. It is a wealth of information. He will need a copy to make gun appraisals anyway. There will be something on it in there. I'm away from the shop and can't check for a few days.

Next, for a nice touch. Call Marlin at 1-800-544-8892, Customer Service. Have serial number handy. At one time several firearms companies offered a documented history of firearms. It was a nice form with the serial number and date of production. They may still do this service, there would be a fee of course.
