  1. It's a game started by Chicago Cubs pitcher Jason Marquis. It usually ends in the Cubs losing by 5 or 6 runs and Cubs fans drinking their sorrows away. Glad I could help.

  4. A marquee game (or matchup) is a game that has a large national attention. For instance when the Yankees and Red Sox play each other that's certainly a marquee matchup. especially on the East Coast. Cardinals/Cub in the midwest, Giants/Dodgers in the West, etc.
