That expression was used over 50 years ago.  It means to put a drug into someones drink in order to knock them out. Nowadays, so-called daterape drugs are used for a different purpose.

A "Mickey Finn"- a drink (usually alcoholic) to which a drug has been added to render someone unconscious without them knowing, a spiked drink

It's a nickname for date drugs. For example the predator would put a pill or liquid inside their date's drink so that it can make the girl feel woozy and sleepy so the guy could take advantage of her.
