  2. That's  a very difficult question to answer.  For every parent, it is different.  I would say that it's a parent's responsibity to instill several different values in their children.  Like kindness, empathy for others, love, faith in god (or whomever)...there are many things really.  But most importantly I think that a parent should teach their children how to love other poeple.  Treat others as you want to be treated.  If you can somehow get your kid to truly live by that, I think that you've achieved something.  I think that if everyone did that, the world would be a different  place.  But since everyone doesn't, you also have to give your children wisdom, so that they know how to protect themselves from the rest of the world.  The world isn't a fair place, we all know that.

  3. That was a very good answer from Garciaje. Every parent has their own ideas on parenting but ultimately we try to do our best. For lots of free advice and tips on parenting visit the blogs below

  4. It is the parent's JOB to teach morality, ethics, and social responsibility.

Children learn from those closest to them.  Time after time I hear that a child needs a church to find out about morals.

I think that's a cop out.  Raising responsible children who will grow up to become assets to their community should not be left for someone else.

Too many have learned about pedophilia from church,  and not just Catholics.  Too many parents think teachers or athletes will do the teaching for them.  Teachers are just too over-whelmed by the numbers of students.  Athletes are on TV, not at your home!

You have to start from the minute they are born.  You are respectful with them, they will understand respect toward others.

You do nothing but whack, scream and holler to them as children and you wonder why  they won't talk to  you when they grow up.

If you're so involved in your football games, that you tell them to get lost even if there is a crisis, and the child will learn that he's not worthy of your time.

    It's ALL about the parents.
