A person has been travelling all over the world for past 5 years. He is a resident of NY and sold his NY house in 2007. Would it constitute has his primary residence? He owned the property for almost 30 years.

  2. Where does he get mail?  What does his driver's license say?  Where does he vote?  Where is his primary care physician?  Where did he live last?  Those kind of things determine you home including your tax home.
