  1. Go here it will tell you all about it...

  2. Ouija boards are devices used to talk with spirits, demons, and other entities. First off, DO NOT USE IT if you are VERY religious, skeptical, or if nobody else is around. For your first few times, YOU MUST be using the board with another person.

If you plan on using it, I recommend taking some safety precautions first.

~To contact a good spirit, sprinkle the board and pointer with sea salt

~Light two white candles and place them on the left and right sides of the board.

~Pray to whatever deity you worship

~Make sure that there are no sharp objects in reach.

How it works is the people playing place their fingertips on the pointer very lightly.  They ask a question out loud for a spirit to answer. (I recommend starting with "Is there a spirit on the board?" and then ask if you are permitted to ask the spirit a few questions for knowledge and no other reason.)

If you get a response, the pointer will start to move to the letters, words, or numbers on the board. DO NOT TALK WHEN THE POINTER MOVES. Spirits are offended easily and not all of them are nice. You can continue to ask questions for a while or until you have no response or the pointer moves to "no" when you don't ask a question. Make sure to say goodbye and wait until the pointer moves to where it says goodbye on the board.

When you are finished, wipe the board clean with a soft cloth and put it away until next time.

Ask me if you need to know anything else!

  3. Well, supposedly they're used to contact ghosts or spirits.  A group of people sit around it with all their hands touching the pointer and it moves across the board.  Then you ask it questions and it spells out answers.

But I saw a documentary about how they're just fake and the answers come from the people's minds who are touching the pointer.  They cause it to move.

In the study, they blindfolded the users and they couldn't spell any answers, just gibberish, lol.  They couldn't even find yes and no.  So that proves there are no spirits, just people's overactive imaginations.

So basically ouija boards are for scaring your gullible friends.
