What is a REALLY easy way to make fingerprints visible using stuff at home?

What is a REALLY easy way to make fingerprints visible using things you have at home? My child asked me and I have know idea what the answer is....she told me she wanted to uncover fingerprints without having to go by things

use a make-up brush to apply cigarette ash, it is very light and makes very fine dust

Talcum powder (baby powder) will work nicely and you'll probably have some around the house.  You just have to lightly blow it over the prints and you should see them.

One thing forensics techs will do is burn super glue in a spoon with a candle. This makes fumes, so stay well ventilated. The fumes tend to stick to a fingerprint and make it visible.

You might try taking a makeup applicator, one of those real big soft paintbrush looking applicators, and using some powder and brushing it on.

You might try pencil lead dust (you'll have to scrape it from a pencil with a knife)
