What is a Rigor of secondary school record?

i was looking through collegeboard.com and most of the top school mostly ivies are looking for rigor of secondary school record. what does that mean?

It means the difficulty level of your course load.  A person taking all AP/IB classes has a more rigorous schedule than someone taking honors classes, who has a more rigorous load than someone taking only regular classes.  Most top universities want to make sure you can handle the work at their colleges and have a good GPA while taking difficult classes.
