What stock generally has a history of doing the reverse of the dow or spy? I want to invest in it if the market tumbles soon. It is getting scary. Points for whoever names a stock (not fund) that tends to go up while the markets go down! Thanks traders!

  1. Just bet the inverse stock that gains when the market's down.

                   Dow Jones         -          NASDAQ          -           S&P

    1x            DOG                   -             PSQ               -           SH

    2x            DXD                    -            QID                 -           SDS

    Consult Ultra ProShares for more information on double and single inverse funds.

  2. DOG = Short the dow

    DXD = Ultra short the dow

    SH = Short the SPY

    SDS - Ultra short the SPY

    The Ultra shorts give you more leverage and bigger moves.  Hope this helps.
