What is a Screener in Market Research? How do I translate it?

I am new in Market Research and I just got a job. I have been sent a Screener to Translate. The truth is: I dont know what a screener is let alone translate. Please help! I need to get back to them by Monday11th. Thanks

A screener is a set of questions at the beginning of a survey which determine whether the respondent is qualified for the survey.  For example, if the researcher has identified the survey target as mothers age 25 to 39 with children under age 10, then the screener will ask gender, age and ages of children.  Screeners are also used for focus group recruiting to ensure the participants meet the qualifications.

If a survey is being conducted in multiple languages then the original screener will need to be translated into the other languages.  Were you hired in part for being bilingual?  That is the only use of "translate" I am aware of in reference to a screener.  Hope that helps!
