Question:

What is a TB test supposed to look like if it is 'bad' OR if it is 'good' ?

I had a TB test yesterday and im not sure what its supposed to look like

i had one a year ago too, and although im not completely sure/i dont remember what it looked like a year ago, it seems like its different

does anybody KNOW what its supposed to do, and can help me?

i hope i dont have tb :-/

  1. I Am in the healthcare field as a nurse and the first thing I can tell you is that it is not how the area looks but how it feels to the healthcare person reading the test. We don't measure the redness (erythema) , we actually measure the induration (thickness).

  3. Negative should look like nothing, with the exception of a little redness where they administered the test. A positive result would look like a rash and/or a lot of redness around the site.

  4. it is  measured by the  in duration (thickness).
