What is a Tamogotchi???

Hi there! I was wondering what a Tamogotchi is. What does it do? Is it fun? When will you get bored of it? What ages is it for? How much are they? Where can you buy them at? I saw a bunch of questions on these little things, and I guess they are supposed to be fun! And also tell the details! Thank you soooo much!

Its a different brand of giga pet. It's a device, like a key fob, that has an electronic "pet" that kids have to clean up after and feed. Basically to keep it alive. It's kind of boring, but some little kids like it.

A tamagotchi mostly prances around the screen. But for the verson 5 (i suggest you should get), does random animations with its family. These are things that you can do with your tamagotchi:

-- Make it go to TamaTown on your PC! =]

YES YES YES! A tamagotchi is the bestest virtual pet in the world that anyone would enjoy. Especially if you can't have a pet like a dog, a tamagotchi can simply fill you in! (it just won't be like a normal pet).

You'll probably start to get bored with it as you get older and you simply get tired of it. The tamagotchi is for ages 7+. A tamagotchi is about $15.00 or $16.00. You can buy them at Target (i really suggest), Walmart, or Toys R Us. I suggest that you not really go to Walmart because sometimes they aren't there. But you can try anyways just to make sure.

You should also try going to tamatalk.com because that site is for people to ask tamagotchi questions and people can answer them for you! All you have to do is sign up and you could answer other peoples questions too! Trust me, you are going to LOVE tamagotchis. I suggest you get the version 5. AND YES IT HAS TO BE IN BLACK AND WHITE. Maybe one day, Bandai will make it in color. =]

Basically, its a virtual pet that you have to take care of, usually by feeding it, grooming it or cleaning its cage (neglecting it will cause it to fall sick and die). The more advanced version of this device has mini games (poker slots, memory game, tic tac toe etc.)

They can be bought at most toy stores and at some convenience stores (those that sell sunglasses to tourists).

Are they fun? well, they might hold your attention for about a week but after that the novelty wears off. They are pretty annoying since they beep and whine whenever they are hungry/bored/sick etc.
