What is a Travel Related Call??????

My cell phone rang and I didn't pick it up. When I called the number back it was an answering service by a robot voice that said "this is a travel related call, we will be intouch agian soon". My friend was suppossed to fly to my state about 3 days ago. He never showed, and this "travel call" was from his state's area code. Do you think the call couldve been made by him, or would the call be in reference to him or his flight? Im really worried.
