  1. .22-250 would be an ideal round, and give you plenty of speed and power for even longer range shots.

  2. .22 mag. would work well, minimal damage.

other than that .222,.223, 22-250, but still will do some damage.

  3. If you aren't worried about the pelt, whatever's handy should do, as long as it's bigger than 22 LR. They aren't very big or robust animals, so there's no point in overthinking the problem.

  4. I use a 22!*

  5. At 100 Yd.s? Anything from .22 RF Magnum on up.

A 223 would be a good choice. Lotsa tham around.

    Lotsa cheap surplus ammo too.

  6. .22 Mag or LR would do at that range but a larger caliber would be better such as:

    .222

    .223

    .243

    .22-250

these calibers would serve you better in you coyote hunting adventures

  7. Pretty much any rifle, from .22LR (shooting something like CCI Stingers) up to around a .30 caliber (though something like a .300 Winchester Magnum is going to be massive over-kill).

  8. My latest was taken from rooftop with a crosbow, but anything over .22 mag is great!

  9. Basically anything will do for coyote.  At a hundred yards use at least a .223.  If you wish to keep the pelt use the FMJ ammo.  Head shots are best.

    H

  10. well i use my 17 centerfire, 22mag, for longer ranges then 100  I use 30-30 30-06, 12ga sluggun, AR15, for shorter ranges i use 44 mag(handgun not rifle) 22LR regular 12ga shotgun and my bow

EDIT: i love how i get thumbs down, and some of you guys act like your supposed to use a 50 cal on them, i've already shot a coyote with my centerfire 17 at 150 yards and the d**n thing didnt move, Some people dont have hunderads of thosands of $$$ to go out and buy a different gun 4 every animal this 1 guy i know has like every long gun ever made, cause i've talked to him not to long ago and he was saying that he has a 222 for somthing and a 223 4 somthing differnt and a 22-250 for somting else and a 30-30 4 someting else, and 30-06 for deer and a 300 for brownbear and a 308 for moose and 338 for greaisly bear and a 375 for sheep.

  11. I use an ACME Roadrunner.

    Meep, meep...

  12. I'd go for the .243 nice round ....

  13. Your best choices are the 22 Magnum, 22 hornet, 218 Bee, 222, 22-250...* Pick one, anyone of them is adequate.*

  14. For longer ranges i would get a 223. or a 22-250 but for closer ranges like 50 to 75 yards i would get a 12 gauge or even a 22. or 17 HMR
