An avalanche is an abrupt and rapid flow of snow, often mixed with air and water, down a mountainside. Avalanches are among the biggest dangers in the mountains for both life and property.

Avalanches may also comprise rocks and boulders.

a bunch of snow on a mountain that all flies down the mountain at a rapid pace just taking out everything in its path.  its like a landslide but only snow instead
