What does a bank investor do? do they sell the stocks to the stock brokers?

  1. I've never heard the term before. Where are you located? Is this perhaps a bit of local terminology?


  2. again, the term 'bank investor' is very generic.  there are investors out there who invest in start-up banks, or bank stocks.   there are mutual fund managers who invest funds only within the banking sector (sector funds).   there are also bank employees who invest in all kinds of asset classes ranging from stocks to mortgages to loans to derivatives...anything you can think of.

    If i were you, I'd ask about more specific job titles or careers.  throwing around the term 'investor' is too general.  it makes it harder to answer your questions.
