  1. Bedding is a soft substance that lines the bottom of a small animal's cage, usually wood- or paper-based. It is used to help soak up any moisture - so if your rabbit urinates or defecates outside his litter box, he won't be standing in it. Also, it makes a rabbit's cage much more comfortable, clean, and livable for him, by giving him something other than plastic or metal to walk and sleep on.

  2. Bedding for their cage and/or litter box.

  3. hello there

beddings are the things you place on your rabbit's cage to protect it from different kind of sicknesses.

in human words, its like the "bed cover" of the rabbit.you see, most rabbit cages have hard plastic/metal floor.so the rabbit may feel uncomfortable when it moves around.so a bedding is scattered on the flooring so that the rabbit feels more comfortable

a bedding also protects the rabbit from sicknesses.you see, using a good bedding, the rabbit stools and urine will be absorbed to make the surounding of the pet clean.placing a bedding will also be good to your rabbits' feeling as the bedding actually give a more "natural" feel for the rabbit.in the wild, rabbits have to walk on grassy areas and a good bedding will make that possible.

a good bedding is the carefresh product.this the most suggested product as bedding as it is safe to use on rabbits.do not use wood shavings as they cause respiratory infections.

there are wood pellets also available on the market.this is also great to use on your pet rabbit.

    i hope i helped!

p.s:no.do not use pine or chedar shavings.these products are toxic to rabbits.

  4. Bedding is wood or pine shavings [mostly pine] Almost everyone uses bedding for their rodents. I have guinea pigs and I use pine bedding. Try and get your rabbit the soft kind so it doesn't hurt them.

  5. bedding is like wood chips you can by at the store to put in the bottom of the cage it keeps the cage from stinking to much, it also softer for the animal.

  6. bedding is a material that is usually cedar wood shavings. the purpose for it is so that it won't aggravate your little bunnies feet-some animals' feet get scratched up or irritated by regular clay litter (like you'd put in a kitty's box). You can get a big bag of it cheap at any pet store or Wal Mart. cedar chips/shavings are also very absorbent of both moisture (so your friend won't have to walk in his/her own mess -ick!) and odor (again, so neither it nor you will have to deal with the smell of rabbit mess! You should probably change out the bedding once a week to once every 2 weeks, depending on how big your rabbit is. Good luck!
