i am looking to buy a new camera..either:

CANNON POWERSHOT-http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8739957&st=cannon powershot&type=product&id=1202429847787

-or-

KODAK EASYSHARE-http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8795734&st=Kodak EasyShare™ M1033 Bronze &type=product&id=1205538041688

[price wise the kodak easyshare is better, and i like some of the added features, however they are not as important if the picture quality is less. seeing as i have had a cannon powershot and it worked great, i was considering getting another, however i want to make sure the kodak easyshare wouldnt be a better choice mainly for unimportant use..nothing professional]

  2. this is honestly a really good story but ima go drink myself to death now.

  3. The Canon Powershot might be more, but in cameras, more money=better. Canon is a phenominal brand. I'd agree with you, though. If pictures are not important, I'd go with the Kodak. Kodak has some great features too.

  4. Canon is a much better brand than Kodak.  Just read some of the pages on  here and you will see that many people have trouble with Kodaks.  Get the Canon.

  5. recent Kodak mini camera with Schneider lens is not bad under normal lighting condition.

canon is better if you talk about pro level, but for mini pocket camera - kodak samsung lg fuji panasonic sony canon nikon are all equally bad.

  6. Canons own all.

  7. Go for the Canon. The picture quality is definitely better.  I have a Canon Powershot A570 and love it.  I also had a Kodak (5MP) camera a few years back and it took awful pictures.  They may be better than they were a few years ago, but Kodak is still rubbish.  If you want to do more research, check out dpreview.com

  8. I would say in general cannon makes cameras that take great pictures and the power shots are great cameras.  The kodak is a good camera and a great deal but the pictures do not have the same quality as the cannon's.  If you have had a power shot in the past and liked it I would stay with cannon I think you will be very happy with it even if it is a bit pricier.  If you are tighter on cash than go with the kodak it will not be as good as the cannon but I think you would be ok with it's other features it gives you.
