What is a better golf ball Nike 1 or Titelest pro v1?

Titleist balls are known to be softer than other balls.

that is the pro v1x.

the Nike balls go a little bit farther when you swing at the same swing rate.

Which ever you choose, it's your own decision whether you like the softness of the ball or the distance.

Titleist by far and for no other reason than the cover durability over Nike Ones....(scuff very easily)....Pro v1's have earned the title of '# 1 ball in golfing ' for a reason..

Depends on your handicap. Far and away experts agree that the Pro V1 is the best golf ball on the market and has been for years. The only problem would be if you are a higher handicap or merely a "weekend golfer". If you aren't like an 10 handicap or better, you probably won't be able to tell the difference in different golf balls.If you are an avid golfer and money is no object, play the Pro Vs.

I picked up a dozen 07 ProV1's and a dozen 07 Nike One Platinums while I was in Arizona for a week of golf. I found the Platinum to be DEEP but lacking in the spin department when it came to shots within 100 yards. I was having trouble stopping or bringing the ball back. The same for me around the greens...Whenever I wanted to play the two-skip then stop, the ball would release instead of stopping.

Switching over to the ProV1....I found it to be a bit shorter than the Platinum, but better for iron and wedge spin. It's also softer for putting and around the greens.

They are both great balls. I just find the Titleist to work better for me and the shots I like to make.

Now the new HX Tour is another story. That ball is deep and I can spin it really well, not to mention, I can use one for almost the entire round unless I have to play some ridiculous spin. The cover is A LOT more durable over last year's offering.

Golf balls are like your favorite musicians.... You gotta listen to them b4 you know what you like.... If I find either one of those balls in the woods.... I'll play them both... As far as balls I purchase myself... I buy the Maxfli Revolution at Target or Walmart for $19 for 2 dozen.... Very similar feel & spin.
