What is a better job? Police officer or Dentist

Not really concerned about making lots of money. Also which is easier to get into?

They are vocation jobs. Which one do you want to be? Decide that and pursue it. You can't lose with either one as you'll be guraranteed a job for life. They are both professional jobs and very essential. Good luck.

Police officer is easier to get into. Being a dentist is harder because you need more education. Being a dentist is better in my opinion

I think police officer- they have a more exciting job, they hold respect and authority. Dentistry requires more schooling.

Hhmmmm, 2 very different careers.

Dentist:

-Highest suicide rate of all medical professions

-Really good pay (triple digits)

-Really long school (6 years)

-Really expensive school ($300,000ish)

-Schedule your own working hours

Police officer:

-High injury/death rate

-Really bad pay

-Good benefits (insurance, retirement)

-Bad/unpredictable/fluctuating hours

-Not very long school (few years maybe)

-I don't know how expensive the school is, might want to check that out
