  1. Judo because you don't need to use your back. well, you don't in aikido either but you have to learn alot more falls in aikido.  Also, I will say that weight lifting and martial arts training won't mesh well at the beginning of your training but after a while, you can handle both.

  2. try boxing.

    it's more appropriate for you.

  3. Both do have their goods and bads ...but my choice would be Judo

  4. Boxing is best as it is the superior martial art.

intermediate amateur boxers routinely beat blackbelts in all other arts. Just a matter of fact.

  5. Tae Kwon Do is a great martial art, but you need to be in pretty good shape. If you have a bad back then I'd go with Aikido. You need a strong back in Judo.

  6. they both have there pros and cons. I think that u should take judo. But there both great.

  7. If you have a weak back then neither aikido or judo may be the best arts for you since both involve lots of tumbling and throwing. If you really want to do one of those two though then feel them out first and see how you like it. Between the two, I would recommend judo over aikido.

  8. I would recommend Aikido between the two. My reasoning is that Judo will have hard throws which could injure your back. The goal of Aikido practitioners is to stop an attack, avoiding personal injury and causing no lasting injury to the attacker. This doesn't mean you won't feel or inflict pain, but these are more along the lines of submissions that impact injuries resulting in a lingering pain.

  9. Both can be hard on your back.  Both of these involve throws where you will have to learn how to land and roll.  Both are fun.  Aikido usually involves learning how to move while multiple attackers are coming after you.  It teaches you how to stay away from people and to use their energy against them while Judo usually involves one opponent and you are learning different throws and some submission skills.  I really like aikido because I believe that it might more realistically resemble something that might happen on the street and therefore you would be better equipped.  But don't get me wrong both are really great.
