What is a better pokemon type to get in diamond or pearl? Ghost or Dark?

ok i need a good ghost type or a good dark type. but i don't know which type to get. i do not have the national dex so don't list any pokemon that i can only get with that. I prefer a pure dark or ghost but i can go with one that isn't weak against psychic, or ghost. if you know where to get this pokemon please include it if you can. Thanks

FOR ghost type: Use Haunter and trade it and trade it back and it will be a Gengar(awsome pokemon!

FOR dark; i say Umbreon!!!!!! (awsome pokemon too)n

THERE IS NOT ANY GHOST POKEMON OR DARK POKEMON THAT I KNOW OF THAT IS GOOD AGAINST PSYCHIC POKEMON IF THERE i won't know it!

defenitaly gost cuz they unifected by normal moves and if you go to eterna forest in the haunted mansion catch a gastly and trainn it until its a haunter(i thinkn you need to trade it to become a gengar) but anyway teach it shadow ball- willow wisp-night shade-and maybe a electric move (or if you really want a pure gost teach it shadow claw or dark pulse or somthing)
