  1. i think which racquet better depends on every player swing style.

the Wilson nCode n6 MP/OS is 95/110 sq in while Head Microgel MP/OS is 102/110 sq in. if you have the n6 MP and your friend has Raptor MP, then your friend has more strung surface - more forgiving, as some said. n6 MP/OS is 9.8 oz/9.7 oz, while Raptor MP/OS is 9.5 oz/9.3 oz. this means your friend's MP lighter than your MP. however your MP is of higher swingweight, which means if you can swing it at same swing speed as you swing the Raptor MP, your n6 will produce faster ball speed (higher impulse). it might be safe that if you are as fit as your opponent's, you can hit the ball harder than your opponent. so n6 might be helpful for power-oriented player, but Raptors are for control-oriented players.

personally, i don't think the Head Microgel Raptor MP is for beginners. Head released the Raptors (MP and OS) to replace the old Flexpoint 1. note that FP 1 is for players with long and fast swing style. it is more for advanced player. also be very careful when swinging stiff racquet like Babolat and try to avoid catching injuries such as tennis elbow. and yes, there are racquets lighter than the lightest Babolat. for example, Head Titanium S6. hope it helps :)

  2. Of course it depends on what type of player you are. In terms of overall quality, it's the Head Microgel. Wilson has been going away from their Ncode series and replaced it with the K series (very good raquets). The Micorgel is a smaller frame meaning it is for the more experienced players. It's a harder raquet to play with for less experienced players, but like all raquets, it just takes getting used to.

  3. Neither, Babolat......one of the lightest raquets sold!

  4. Raptor is only for new young players. Older and more experienced players need heavier racquets like the wilson.

  5. wilson all the way
