What is a better rivalry: Yankees/Red Sox or Ohio State/Michigan?

Yankees/Red Sox for me because I'm involved in it as a Yankees fan but I think the rivalries are pretty similar.

Michigan and the Yankees are known for being the greatest in terms of winning in their field.

Ohio State and the Red Sox have the upper hand currently...but for most of the time that wasnt the case.

I dont know, profesinals are more Professinal and college and high school kids have a true hate for another team. But i think im gonna go with Red Sox Yankees, cause they'res almost something going on everytime they match up, and i follow mlb more than college football.

Pro and college sports are kind of apples and oranges, as are baseball and football.  I think OSU/Michigan, because they only play once a year and the loser of that game has to live with it for 365 days before they get a chance at redemption.  I also think that the student athletes at the universities have a deeper connection to the towns than the group of mercenaries that change uniforms every year (Johnny Damon anyone?) in the pros do.  Boston/NYY is about as good as a pro rivalry gets, but I think OSU/Michigan is a little more intense.  90,000 people in the stands, and every one in each state tuned in the last Saturday of the season.

Red Sox/Yankees...College rivalries are comical compared to the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry.

Yankees/Sox without a doubt. It's the greatest sports rivalry of all time and you can't compare it to anything else. Go Yanks, **** the Sox.
