  1. You'll be way happier with the Civic in the long run. It's more reliable and much better quality. It also holds it's resale value much better, in case you want to trade or sell in a couple of years. The Civic is one of the most popular cars on the road, for good reasons.

  2. well if you have to buy a kit for the civic it will cost more.on the g5 you can probably haggle for the price off of sticker on the civic you will not be able to. and pontiac is also offering incenives on the g5.my daughter has a cobalt(identical to g5) and we love it

  3. I have to say that my dad suggested I get a Honda Civic for me to drive as a college student and that it would have good gas mileage, and is good for city driving.. a G5 on the other hand is what I might have preferred back then...A G8 will be my next car. I am just getting out of college and I will be moving out soon enough and think that car would be great to drive to work and just around... Overall, both are nice cars for teens, but I would stick to GM since that's what my first two cars were... and I like GM better.

  4. I think Honda Civic is better than a Pontiac G5. Here are the reasons:

    1. Honda Civic is manufactured by a Japanese company and hence 5 yrs. down the road you'll find the Civic will sell for more than the G5.

    2. With gas prices high, Civic is way better choice.

    3. Civic is cheaper than G5 hence even if you buy a body kit or anything like that it'll still be around the same amount you would pay for a G5.

    4. And finally, trust me dude, the interior of a Civic looks way better than a G5.

  5. Go for a Honda Civic GX, which runs on natural gas (methane). It's super cheap to fill up and super clean for the environment. Costs me about $8 to fill up. You'll save a bundle on fuel costs. But, find out if there are any natural gas stations around you because not every state has them. Otherwise, it's definitely the way to go!

  6. Honda Civic, Hondas are very nice and well built cars and you will be much much happier in the long run!

  7. Go with the G5. GM's qaulity is just as good or better than the civic. The myth that the american cars are poor qaulity just isnt true. I have owned many GM and Ford vehicles with very few problems. My sisters 2008 Honda Accord has been in the shop 3 times in 3 months. Not to mention you will probably get the G5 for considerably less money.

  8. Geo Prism

    Ford Fiesta
