Samsung by far.  Instead of just shopping Wal-Mart, put in the brand and model in either of these websites below and get a better deal that even Wal-Mart is willing to offer.

This is the television that I'm trying to purchased.

Sony KDL40V3000  (KDL40V4150 is it's replacement) This model is not going to last much longer.  It's a hundred times better than either one you mentioned.  I've seen this one priced anywhere from $900-1,200 on refurbished models.

The average going price is around $1,500.  I have seen the TV for as low as $1,200 new including shipping.  Sears ($1,800 or more) and Best Buy ($1,500-1,800) are the highest price places to purchase this television anywhere.  Both Sears and Best Buy told me they could care less if they are being undersold or not.

In 32", there are no good plasmas!!! If under 42", go LCD. The best brands, for both performance and reliability, in 32" LCD are Panasonic and Sony, followed by the less expensive Toshiba and, perhaps, Sharp and Samsung.
