  1. When you wake up.  Wait thirty minutes before eating breakfast though, since the blood will be pumping in your muscles and not in your stomach lining where it is needed for digestion.  Working out before bed gets your metabolism going and can make it hard to get a good nights sleep which is necessary for recovery and muscle/strength building.


  2. Before going to bed.

    When working muscles, you are tearing and ripping the current muscle you have. You need rest to repair the torn ones, so they can grow bigger.  

  3. After waking up is the best because you haven't eaten anything and exercise does the most work then. Though the best thing is to really do it at both times. If you're only going to do it once though morning is the best.

  4. when you wake up it will get your body going if you do it b4 you go bed your getting your body all wound up and then trying to turn it off when you go 2 bed.

  5. After waking up. Your body needs time to heal. That's what exercising is; breaking muscles down to rebuild them stronger. I would do push-ups after I wake up, and after I stretch.

  6. Do them at both times.  Also incorporate a weight training program and proper diet.
