  1. A black moore Carassius auratus (thanks for spelling it correctly) is an off breed of a goldfish.  One of the most popular for aquariums.  They have telescope eyes and are  a very hearty breed.

    Maximum length is roughly 6 inches but that is extreamly great conditions.  Most never get much more than 4.5" tank or pond.

    Can come in butterfly, veiltails, broad and ribbon tails.  All are or should be just as the name says, black, however the new species come in "copper".
