  1. High wind and blowing and drifting snow. White out conditions. Stay off the roads. Cold and nasty white stuff. No fun. Lived through a lot of them. One time it was so bad out you could not see three feet in front of you. I have lots of stories.

Otherwise, a blizzard is mass amounts of snow with whiteout conditions meaning you can't see, it's unsafe to drive, and seriously not recommended.
