What is a block play in Rugby League?

Hey guys

ive started playing again after 4 years out of the game, we do passing plays at training and do a a move called block, where one player runs infront of the other but i just can get it. Anyone think they can explain it to me cause ive asked my coach and team mated but still cant get it

  1. a block is when the half or five eighth pass the ball behind a decoy runner hitting the guy behind him. '''! or !''' is the line that the decoy runner runs either straight then to the left or straight and to the right. the guy getting the ball runs the opposite way to the guy running the decoy. for example if ur half back or five eighth say's to you run a block get the guy outside you to run in front of you and you run behind him and you will get the ball. but if you have to run the decoy always exspect the ball cause no one is a decoy.
