Hello, where do these "sniglets" come from?

(Sniglets, from 20 years ago cable program called "Not Necessarily The News.")

Like, what do you call that dark plastic bowl-looking thing at the bottom of the one or two liter plastic bottles?

A "Bevamirage." Something made to make you think there still is something left in the the bottle.

A bag of chips bloated with air and hardly any chips to equal said size of wrapping:  A "Snackisphere."

Okay.  What is a blog?

A blog IS two words including the combination of Web Log, as answered by previous answerers, a place to write about your sighs when you think that sighs matters. (hee hee, I'm so punny!).

I learned that these two words "web log" was shortened to "BLOG"   weBLog.

You see "Zebrails," right?

Consists two of my many favorite things: Zebras and the Railroad:  Zebra + Rails =  Zebrails.

A blog is a journal or a diary that you can keep private or share with friends or family.

You can give your opinion on your views in life. Or tell about recipes or tips on anything. You not only type things from A to Z but you can have friends to share them with and they share with you.

It's an online diary. It's purpose is to display, for no one specifically that cares, the deluded notion that the self-important blogger has writing skills.

A blog is like a article where people who haven't like e-mailed you or anything can see what you're up to everyday and what's happening with you.

A blog is an online journal of your thoughts. People write them for various reasons, but Yahoo! 360 is designed as a social networking tool with friends/family or to meet new people. A blog is one of those tools.

I write mine to keep my friends/family updated on my activities and thoughts. I express myself better in writing. People read blogs out of curiosity about other people's lives and opinions.

A good blog to me:

1) Mainly, is one that is authentic. Your thoughts, your creative background, your interests - there's only one "you," so be expressive! I know, that's corny, but it's true.

2) Keep it updated.

3) Theme... is your blog a commentary on the latest news? Is it a diatribe about activities in your daily life? Is it only about your pet's quirks? A theme isn't necessary, but a purpose helps. Now, if you just want to write anything that comes to mind, well, try to make it sound like an interesting read.

4) A sense of fun - humor always helps.
