A blog is basically a journal. You can put on anything. You can write, put on a photo, video, EVERYTHING. Some have purposes, like diary-style (today my car broke, man, it sucked. My dad had a kid, which is scary), news-style (breaking news, Brangelina is having kids! Get your cameras out and ready!) or rant-style (I HATE EVERYTHING, AHHHH!!!!1111111 Even kids1) (the ones are on purpose, people tend to put 1s instead of exclamations). I tend to think that diary-style is most popular. Your life has to be exciting or no one will view it, so keep it spicy and funny. If no one views it, no point.

it's kinda like an online diaryy except you can include videos and pictures, and other people are able to read it.

Sites like myspace offer a blogging capability

a blog is an online journal, u can post about ur like: updates of ur life, political opinions, a great trip, favorite recipes, what music you're listening to -- anything that strikes your fancy!
