What is a blu-ray disc?

Yea i accidently bought one thinkin it was a regular dvd and it doesn't work in my dvd player.......

You need a Blu-Ray player to play that....it is a high definition version of dvd with better picture and sound.

Bring it back to the store you bought it from with the receipt explain to them what happened and I'm sure they will let you exchange it.

It is a high definition format of video that will only work with a local player (blu-ray player) HD DVD's do the same thing, so if they say hd dvd or blu ray I wouldn't get them.

It will work with a PS3, it won't work with a regular DVD player.  It has a better picture than a regular DVD - 4 times the resolution.

Odds are you'll be able to return it to the store, but if you can't, find a friend with a PS3 (or a bluray player).

you need a high def dvd reader, but it does work in some other players........i can get scientific but its 4am here so basically a blue ray disk holds more memory......blue light has more storage then red
