they are so pretty,my dad used to catch them for me when I was little,the last two we had we had to keep because we found them in the winter (in grandpas firewood) and if we had released them they would have starved....but they are like a grey with blue bellies...

From everything that I have seen it is a name used to describe any member of the Sceloporus genus of lizards.
