  1. In the US? It's called the station, or depot.

  2. "a place where buses go to sleep at night is called a "bus garage""

    ... that sounds very sweet!

Do you mean loading people or loading luggage? It's a strange term either way... A bus stop? A bus shelter? A bus station?

  3. A bus stop.  Or at least I think that's what you're talking about.  I am only thinking for public transit and school, but if you're talking about Charter buses that you need a ticket for, those have bus stations.

  4. in the UK ...

a place where a bus stops to pick up passengers during it's route is called a "bus stop"

a place where lots of buses pull into and there are different stands for different routes is called a "bus station"

a bus station where lots of buses start from or end their journey (e.g. in a larger town) can also be called a "bus terminus"

long distance buses with limited stops are usually called coaches (so then it's coach stop, coach station etc)

a place where buses go to sleep at night is called a "bus garage"

  5. BUS TERMINUS IN THE UK
