  1. There was a book/story wrote some time ago about these hunters who traveled back into time to kill a dinosaur.  One of the rules of this hunting trip was to stay on the path. One of the hunters flipped out and ran off of the path.  The hunter came back to present time and discovered his environment had been changed drastically.  When he looked at his boots he found a dead butterfly, one he had stepped on when he flipped out and ran off-path.  Because he stepped on that butterfly some other bug died because it didn't get to eat that butterfly. Because that bug died a mouse died because it couldn't eat that bug. Then when the mouse died a fox died too because it couldn't eat that mouse. And so on...and on... until the right human died....and changed history.

Because that guy stepped on a butterfly, the events in human history changed.

    And so did his world.

    That is the butterfly effect.

And it's a great movie too!

  2. " The butterfly effect is the idea that a single flap of a butterfly’s wings could have large scale effects across the world. To the extreme, could a butterfly in Brazil trigger a hurricane (or prevent one) in Texas with a single flap of its wings "

    So, by my owns words..

Each of your action could have some consequences around the world.. step by step, the world is one, the world is tie.

All is link. If you modify one thing, other done is change immediately.. and next one.. etc.

It's a little bit exaggerate, but I deeply believe on the global meaning.
