  1. Unfortunately, your question isn't very specific. A cable TV connector could be referring to the coaxial (coax) TNC connector used on teh ends of the cable that run form the wall to your converter box or TV.

    Can you be more specific?


  2. If you mean standard Cable TV and a standard input to a TV set to plug your cable TV line into it is type F or RF cable commonly called a cable TV jumper wire.

    It is best to use RG-6 Quad shield cable with a crimp on male F connector on both ends for  HD cable TV although cheaper cables will work.

    NOTE A TNC  connector mentioned is a radio antenna coinnector:  The TNC (threaded Neill-Concelman) connector is a threaded version of the BNC connector. The connector has a 50 Ω impedance and operates best in the 0–11 GHz frequency spectrum. It has better performance than the BNC connector at microwave frequencies.

    Cable TV uses 75Ω cable. Do NOT use TNC for standard cable TV.
