  1. A CHANGE UP PITCH IS WHEN YOU HAVE A THREE  FINGER GRIP ON YOUR d**k HEAD

  2. like a fastball but less speed and more movement

  3. A change-up is basically exactly what it is called. It is a change. Some pitchers like to throw right after a fastball because the arm angle and motion are the same but it goes usually about 5-10 mph slower which causes the batter to throw off his timing ans swing early on most occasions. Most change-ups also have a little downward action due to how the ball is held in the hand.

  4. I think it means it looks like it will be a fastball but its a lot slower.

  5. its a slower pitch than a fastball but it looks like its going to be a fastball but it starts to sink a little (not much, like an inch) and goes slower with usually causes the batter to swing early.

  6. It is a pitch thrown at the same arm rate as a fastball, but goes slower than one. You hold it differently.

  7. It's a pitch thrown just like a fastball. When you first learn you just change your grip. Then, as you master that you can turn your thumb-side of you hand down at release point for added movement.

  8. it is a slower pitch than a fastball

  9. The Change Up is a shortened name of a pitch originally called a Change of Pace.  It is best thrown with the exact same pitching motion as a fastball, but much slower.  The idea is for the batter to see a fastball delivery and swing much too soon.

While a fastball is usually thrown with the index and middle finger spinning the ball towards the plate, a change up often uses the middle and ring finger.  The index finger can form a circle with the thumb on the side of the baseball.  This is called a Circle Change.
