If you can accept a Digital Camera with video I suggest a Kodak for around $150-200.  I carried two in Iraq (the first was stolen) and was happy with the results of picture quality and had no problems.  I crushed the second under a track and bought two others in the states: a pentax and sony.  The sony died and I cant seem to get rid of the Pentax in order to have an excuse to go back to a Kodak.

  6. The one that comes with your mobile phone! No but serious... you never take your video cam when you need it so just shell out for a good phone cam and a lot of memory.

  9. well you just have to look around and especially in the Sunday ad's but if your in need one of right away i would start looking at walmart.

    they'll give you camera suggestions, and you're bound to find one you LOVE and it'll be as close to EXACTLY what you want. you just have to fill out a questionaire on what you want and need. that's how i got my Casio Exilim and i LOVE it! i take it with me almost everywhere i can! so, go to the website, fill out the questionaire, and they'll give you suggestions that'll closely match what you are looking for.
