im trying to find one for my boyfriend to travel down from leicester to bournemouth..

try www.raileasy.co.uk which shows the cheapest available fares. they charge £1.50 per booking though so you might be better off booking through www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk because they do cheap singles if you book in advance which can work out much cheaper than getting a standard return and there's no booking fee.

I use http://www.thetrainline.com too. I used to use it to visit my boyfriend in Manchester when I lived in South Wales. But now I've moved to Manchester to be with my boyfriend, I use it to travel home to visit my family! Always has the best prices.
