There is a brand new Motel 6 located on North Coast Hwy in Oceanside.  It's right on the beach so it costs a little more than most Motel 6 venues.  It's very clean and close to all that's happening in Oceanside.  Cost is about $89.00 per night.  Less than 1/2 mile from I-5 and Hwy 76 ( a major thoroughfare).  

I wouldn't normally recommend Motel 6 but this one is worth looking into.  Not a lot of good hotel choices in O'side.
