what do you do? or what have you seen or heard of being done in order to save money? This guy contemplates buying a $5 car repair part... or... just whacking it with a wrench! This is funny!

I shred (by hand) unwanted mail and put it in the wormery where the worms make it into compost for my plants.

I grow plants from seed, rather than buy them as plants as it's much less expensive and you can keep them as organically as possible.
