What is a client group? (in general and to do with biomedical science)?

  1. Client means someone who hires you.

    A client group would be a group of people who have hired you.

    As far as I know, this is the only usage of the term.  In medicine, I expect a client group would be the set of people who have hired the doctor.  Not so romantic, but medicine is a business these days.
